Bob Meets The Beatles - The Meth Minute 39

This made me laugh, so I thought I'd share.

Tomoko's fractal

Tomoko waited for her train ride. It wasn't usually this late. That last encounter with the Yakuza had left her a bit shaken up. She didn't know what to expect next. All she knew, was that he wasn't here on the platform this evening, as he usually was.

"Gosh!" she thought to herself. "It was so much easier when he was the business guy reading the paper that never did anything exciting. This whole thing... I just can't take that type of violence."

            Woooshhhhh!

Train to Chiba Prefecture now boarding.

This was her. Nothing short of her usual pace, she strode into the car. It took her a minute to get herself situated. It was pretty much empty inside the car, which felt kind of strange. 2 am trains are usually empty though, but it was different without him. These last trains riding the line for the last time, spend an hour stopped, in dead silence. These cold machines, waiting to eat up the inhabitants of the city, chew them up and spit them back out. Some stay in longer than others, that's personal choice though.

What was it about him that changed the way this train felt? Without anyone else but her, it felt cold and desolate. This ride in particular was one of the most taxing. She couldn't wait to get off at her station. Walk to the little noodle shop, sit at her booth and enjoy a warm bowl of...

Before she knew it, she'd passed 2 stops already. She wasn't far. Next stop is hers.  A great yawn envelops her, and she is forced to close her eyes for just one second. She dreams with his smell, and his warmth. Even if it's for just a second, it's like she can feel him, right there. With the way he  held her after the attack, she knew the texture of his trench coat, and that of his lapel. She could never forget that scent.

When she comes to, she is safely seated at the train station. Her train station. She looks around, and sees someone going down the stairs. It's just the backside, but she knows it's him. She gets up and starts to run across the platform, balancing her way along the with her shopping bag and work things filling her hands.

"Stop!" She yells as she gets to the top of the stairs. There is no one there. Just an empty staircase  She can still smell him on her. She can almost feel his fading warmth on her clothes. She closes her eyes, and imagines his face. What she can still remember.

One step follows the next. She makes her way down the dim lit path, just as many times before this, and many more to come. Posters on the wall of movies long past, are falling off, while others are constantly covered by the next big thing. Her footsteps reverberate against the walls, a light buzzing from the electric lines and neon lights above can be heard. Random signs are still lit. Karaoke bars, and Love MO's (motels) are always open.

Her booth is available, as always. Kindly, the old lady that hosts the place shows her to her booth. It hasn't occurred to her to ask her if she ever gets some rest, it's as if she's always here, working.

Noodles, they always warm her up. This texture is the best part, the way they  just slither into your mouth. So soft, so sweet, and the contrast with the sour broth tonight was just delightful. Best noodles in town. Shes buzzing just with the first taste. She enjoys it to the last drop. Slurping to the very end.

After her meal, she sits there, and wonders about the man and his fancy trench coat. Why would he just leave her there like that, without a hello, or a good-bye. After all that had happened. She just wanted to know he was alright. His boss seemed kind of upset at the outburst, and said there would be consequences to be paid. There's only so much one can do.

The warm tea gives off a bit of steam as she brings the porcelain cup to her lips. She slightly squints from the warmth, as it slowly slips between her lips, warming her up insides. Her reflection on the polished wooden table is a bit warped from the woods formation itself. She sips again, wondering what the symbol was hanging off his lapel.

It is free will

If I could go
I would

Do I have to be here?
Momentarily.

Could I be anywhere?
Yes, I could.

Is she waiting for me?
No one waits,
life moves much

too

fast.

Can there be a change
in the actions
of those who seem to be
the futile
proverbial machines
fighting
that upward battle
just pushing at that rock?

Only those who seek change
tend to find it.

There is no reason
to completely loose
yourself in the makings
and the fallacies
that this earthly place
offers with smiles and
a back hand
hidden in the shadows.

Games are for children,
though I'm a proverbial child
in my heart and yours.

I will not become locked
trying to get so far away
that I'm stuck in my own
head.

I will not become locked
trying to turn heads when
true love cannot be taken
away from you.

What is yours,
is yours.
and nothing,
anyone,
can take that away.

When you've got no reason,
to forge something within you
that will make the earth saner
easier to handle and understand

Know that

When you truly love something,
you may give it away,
then you will know,
what is true.

I could care for you,
love you with all my being,
because it was born of me
because it was made from me.

You could love me,
with all of your being,
because it was born from you.

Free will is a bitch,
only because it's
misled
by fear
and forgotten scars
that ache when
something beautiful
is about to happen.

It is the only way though,
that you will know
that someone,
true and fit,
will openly choose your love
to share for as long
and as happily
as humanly possible.

Unafraid of what may happen
as beautiful and strange things
always tend to happen
when two people meant to be
are finally together.
It creates echoes

waves

moving a million miles an hour
into the heart
of the sun.
Keeping us warm.
Changing things around them,
shifting them just a bit
enough for them to glow
to reverberate
that Love.

This is when you know.

Because free will,
it's such a bitch.
Feeding into your fear,
and tearing you
apart.

Sometimes
you just have to act.

Like walking up to her,
and calling her name.
She turns around,
it seems like forever.

Then,
as your eyes meet,
she smiles
you smile.

Moving in,
it feels so right.
The fear is gone,
theres only
warmth.

You lean in,
she leans in.
Eyes slowly close.
Breaths collide,
it tickles their cheeks.

Like the burst of a million suns
her kiss is so perfectly bright,
it's like we've been
kissing each other

for years.

Right here.

Right now.

This is what overcoming fear,
can do for you.
Knowing the true kiss,
of a lover who
will return if meant to be.

This is also Free Will.
Untouched by fear.
It creates beautiful things,
makes the sun brighter.

Next time you look within,
know that
those aching muscles
can all be healed.

All of your worries
woes,
and sadness.
can be turned around.

There is nothing
which can't be changed
by the truest of expressions
humans share.

My lust for you

There is something about the way she moved from one place to another, her body shifting seamlessly through space. I wanted to hold her, whisper sweet words close to her ear. That day though, the General stands before me, telling me what to do, and who to talk to. I am not afraid of him anymore.

Such a tricky thing, trying to get a note across to her. It took 4 days for me to find someone who was going to the other side of the base. We weren't allowed to see one another, for it was declared wrong by them, and so we were separated. We needed one another so bad though, it showed every time we met.

A few days later I finally received word from her. A luster came off the lipstick she had used to kiss the note. I touched it lightly with my fingers, feeling her lips vicariously through this piece of paper. It smelled of her perfume, with her neat hand writing and lovely hand drawn letterhead of a red blooming rose. Above all was the astute manner through which she sent the note. I thanked her messengers with a cup of sugar. They were more than happy.

To think this letter had gone to 3 other camps before reaching him. All from just about a mile away.

"I want to see you. It's been far too long, and all I want is for you to hold me in your arms. I miss the scent of your body, the warmth of your soul. Please, meet me at the water maintenance station in 3 days time from the next drill."

Her note went on to speak about her times in the barracks, the lack of food and how hard they were being worked. It wasn't for another 6 days that the alarm went off. Surely another drill. I took this opportunity and sneaked past the out houses, then in between the men's barracks, where I could see two men holding each other inside. Any time to be alone is as good as any, I guess.

When I finally made it to the water treating station I went past the massive holding tanks, through a small corridor that was formed in between them, then onto the courtyard located at the center. As I walked out, the sun shone onto my eyes, slightly blinding me. The green grass waved with the winds gentle touch, a cool breeze that came down upon me cooled my skin, I could feel her in the air. There was a bench in the middle, I could see her sitting there. Blue sweater, jeans, and her blond hair. It's all I could see from behind, but I could recognize her anywhere, especially her scent.

As I approached her, there was a warm stinging sensation in the middle of my back. Suddenly, my shirt started to turn a ruby red. My hands are trembling, it feels like I'm drowning. It hurts to breathe, my mind is loosing focus. Falling forward to the ground, I see her turn around. She doesn't know.

"GO!" I try to belch out. It is too late though, she is already running towards me. I can't say anything, the pain makes me pass out. But my thoughts, even in the darkness, are of her.

I am awoken by a bright light, laying on grass face up, this place feels different right now. Pain is gone, but so are my clothes. I'm now in all black, the places where the blood once was at it's sharpest ruby red only the brightest white appears. I look around, there is nothing but green as far as the eye can see. Small yellow, red, and purple flowers lay scattered about in random patches.

There is no one around, it seems like I'm the only one. I Wait around for a couple of hours and contemplate where I could be. Nothing feels the same, even the flowers seem to have a mind of their own, for as I pass through them, it's as if they are staring  at me. Their pistols sniffing at me from every which way. I don't really get it, and even find it kind of endearing, but I continue on. I manage to make it to a tree where rest in the shade is calling me, for as soon as I sit the tree cradles me into it's roots and molds into my body.

All I can think of still is her, nothing else really comes to mind. She would love those playful flowers. I hope she's ok. I lay here to rest, under this tree, and I hope that she's going to be alright. There was never a need to say this, but, I really would wait a lifetime to be with you. Even if it means waiting here for you.

After a few months, I've come to the conclusion that this place is on a small hill.  A small hill covered with flowers and green soft grass that are often covered in dew. As the sun begins to set, there is a green glow emanating from everything because of it. I am flabbergasted, all I can do is just stare at the wondrous glow, it's different every time. It seems like the sunset takes forever, but the beautiful play in light, colors, and oh the sweet memories it brings back to me. How thankful I am. How I wish I could have told you all those times, that you were my Ssica all along.

Hours turn into days, days into months, and months into years. Yet all I can do, is wait here, hoping I'll see her soon.

Sour Marmalade

Sometimes the lights are too bright,
life can glow of amber green.
Times we spent in it's Haze
would often seem fuzzy and free.

She'd walk in the door and say:

Hey Baby Baby, it's been
so long since I've been held.
Hey Baby Baby, I've got
a kiss to share with you.

Deep into her eyes so blue,
lighting up the room with brilliant stars.
He once learned what love could be
from a girl he kissed in the dark.

A smile so sweet it could entice
The coldest heart within a mile
until one day she came in twice
her golden locks flowing on her head.

We knew not what it would mean,
until the warmth of our kiss,
the subtle touch of our skin,
it seemed to linger on for days.

She'd walk in the door and say:

Hey Baby Baby, it's been
so long since I've been held.
Hey Baby Baby, I've got
Kiss to share with you.

Then one day she up and went
into the limelight of night.
Never to be seen by him again.

One kiss can last a lifetime,
if only a memory.
The way her eyes shone so bright.
When she said:

I know it has been too long
so now it's time that we go.
Theres no point to fall in love
when we have so much to know.

Theres so little to be lost.
Oh boy! She once said to me.

Hey, Baby Baby it's been
so long since I've been held.
Hey Baby Baby I've got
a kiss to share with you.

It was wonderful to see
Oh this love that could have been.
Just as easily as she
came in
she left today.

It was all a wonderland
covered in sweet marmalade,
but even the sweetest things
will turn sour one day.

Capillaries expand around you

I am unable to erase you
to get rid of your scent from my skin
to decapitate these thoughts from me
to get rid of our sin.

I am not loosing
I have only gained
My peace of mind
in this wretched game.

I could care less what they think,
all that matters to me is the eyes
of a woman overflowing with truth
so kind,
bare feet
bare smile,
bare soul.

Now that we are here
we shouldn't lose one another
unless it's within the other
there is little else to be said.

Parted lips succumb, my sweet succubus.

It was late at night
as we drove on the road
her eyes never met mine
she said
“Hey baby I'm tired and down
gona have to call it a night.”

So we went right home,
where could we go?
everywhere else was a dam
we rolled up to here
and had a smoke
as we mingled in the dark.

I never did tell her that I would mind
if we would just call it a bust
and it even did cross her mind
that one day we would be true
and it could be you
who's playing the fool.

She never did explain
what she meant
by hanging on to my heart
it wasn't fair by any means
I never even had a chance
it was true
I figured it'd be you.

I went to kiss her goodnight
and her face turned away
I will never understand
the reasons for her nay say.

She said she had to travel the world
to find some kind of peace
that there were better ways to die off
than to go in your sleep
she said it's true
I'm even loving you.

If I knew what truths lay hidden in your eyes
I would write them down for you to read
If I could read the Braille upon your skin
I would whisper it in your ear.

"I thought what I'd do
was I'd pretend
I was one of those
deaf-mutes."
Run amok
consume consume consume

All along though,
one truth shone through.
that this True Love is True
just between the two

yes its you.
